The Omni Hologram Clock
Live Preview
This is "The Omni Hologram Clock".
This design moves away from physical materials (Metal, Glass, Plastic) and enters the realm of Volumetric Light.
The Strange Theory:
Z-Axis Chronology: Time is layered vertically. The Hour is the base foundation (Low Z), the Minute is the structure (Mid Z), and the Second is the fleeting energy (High Z).
Hard-Light Projection: The clock does not exist physically. It is a 3D projection emitted from a base station. It utilizes perspective and rotateX to render a 2D interface as a floating 3D object.
Scanline Interference: The image is not perfect. It suffers from "Signal Decay," visualized by a scrolling scanline and randomized opacity flicker.
Parallax Drift: As you view it, the layers drift apart based on the viewing angle, reinforcing the illusion of a hologram floating in empty space.
Why "The Omni-Hologram" is a Final Boss:
Z-Axis Hierarchy:
Normally, clock hands are stacked flat.
Here, I used translateZ(35px), translateZ(65px), and translateZ(80px).
Because the parent .hologram-cone is tilted (rotateX(40deg)), you can clearly see the physical vertical gap between the Hour, Minute, and Second hands. They are floating on different planes of existence.
Hard-Light Aesthetic:
The color palette uses high-saturation Cyan (#00f3ff) on a deep black background to mimic a laser projector.
The .beam-fader creates a volumetric cone of light fading up from the base, selling the idea that the light is being emitted from the floor.
Base Station:
Unlike other floating clocks, this one has a .projector-base on the "floor" (bottom: -15%). It grounds the design, making it look like a physical appliance sitting on your desk projecting the time into the air.
